The creative process may begin with large-scale charcoal drawings made through full-body movement, a walk in the forest, or through the study of light in photography, fabric movements, and anatomical drawings.
The combination of wood and ceramic helps ground this energy: a soft wooden base anchoring the movement of its waves, whether symmetrical or asymmetrical, contained or expansive.
